The NBA has done the Charlotte Hornets no favors when it came to assembling the group matches for the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup. In addition to the Brooklyn Nets, the Hornets will also face three participants from the Eastern Conference: the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers.

Due to the many injuries the team struggled with a year ago, the Hornets didn’t really have a chance in the first tournament of the season. Additionally, Brandon Miller wasn’t the player he became later in the year at that point in the season. If Charlotte is lucky in terms of overall health, they could surprise the NBA world and win Group A.
