What happened during the time I was reincarnated as a slime, season 3, episode 19?

Rimuru welcomes the royals from abroad

Masayuki, the light-speed hero from “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”.

Episode #19 of Back then I was reborn as slime showed Rimuru welcoming his first guests, all of whom were kings from neighboring countries such as Blumund, Dwargon, and Falmenace. However, Rimuru also took some time out of his busy schedule to make a special trip to Engrassia, where he met Yuuki Kagurazaka and his assistant Kagali, whose expertise on ancient ruins could be of use to Rimuru as he explores some ancient ruins in Clayman’s old territory.

Rimuru and Yuuki also visited the school where Rimuru taught, as Rimuru planned to invite his former students (as well as their new teacher) to the festival as well. The children, who hadn’t been seen in quite a while, were happy to see Rimuru again and eagerly packed their things to return to Tempest with him. Upon his return, Rimuru set off to meet up with the lightspeed hero Masayuki, who was quickly approaching. Rimuru was not particularly well-liked by Masayuki’s group members, but Masayuki himself seemed to show little malice towards Rimuru, suggesting that he is eager to find a way to escape the enmity.

“That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”, Season 3, Episode 20, is the eve of the festival

Rimuru hosts a banquet to introduce Tempest culture

Empress of Thalion, Elmesia, a high elf.

Back then I was reborn as slime In episode #20, Rimuru’s grand feast finally begins with a heavenly banquet for his most precious guests. Based on manga chapter 110, many familiar faces will be there, even beyond the aforementioned royals and nobles that Rimuru has already greeted. Notable among the previously unmentioned guests is Hinata Sakaguchi, whose presence at such an event is a sign of the cooling of tensions between Tempest and the Western Holy Church. Without the Seven Days clergy spreading human supremacy propaganda, the Church is much calmer and less aggressive towards even other nations like Dwargon.

Another notable guest is the Empress of Thalion, Elmesia, who is seen on an exceptionally rare journey beyond the borders of her own country. She has some words planned for Rimuru, though what exactly they will be remains to be seen. Other guests include Milim and her entourage, which includes the former Demon Lord Carrion and the Queen of Heaven Frey, among others. Rimuru’s battle in the arena with Masayuki will also keep him busy, as he wonders what the so-called lightspeed hero is capable of.

According to reports, the long-awaited festival will finally begin in the next episode. Back then I was reborn as slime has invested a lot of time into preparing for this event, so hopefully it will be worth all the anticipation.
