In a tragic incident reported from Delhi’s Karol Bagh on Saturday (August 17), a 19-year-old boy died when an air conditioner fell from the third floor of a building directly on his head. The deceased boy was sitting on a stationary scooter and chatting with his friend when the air conditioner crashed on his head.

The deceased boy’s friend, who was standing next to him, also fell to the ground after being injured by the air conditioning unit. However, he survived and is currently being treated for his injuries.

Shocking video shows how the air conditioning failed

The shocking video footage of the tragic incident that has emerged shows two boys talking near the building entrance. One of the boys is sitting on a stationary scooter while the other is standing right next to the scooter and talking to him.

The video shows that, like every day, other people are walking or going about their business on the premises of the building where the incident occurred. One of the people can also be seen talking on the phone.

While the two boys were still talking, a motorcycle fell from the third floor of the building. The motorcycle landed directly on the head of the boy who was sitting on the motorcycle and then fell to the ground. The impact of the motorcycle caused both boys to collapse.

Later, reports confirmed that the 19-year-old, who was riding the scooter, had died due to the impact of the AC on his head. The incident sent shockwaves when the tragic CCTV footage surfaced. The unfortunate incident took place on Friday, August 17, at 6:50 pm.

This tragic incident in Delhi comes days after a four-year-old girl died on August 7 when a dog fell on her from the fifth floor of a building in Thane’s Mumbra area. The tragic incident was captured on CCTV and the girl died of her grievous injuries.
