Bollywood actor Vijay Raaz has been dropped from the upcoming film ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ after allegedly having a falling out with lead actor Ajay Devgn.

The decision was taken after Raaz allegedly failed to enquire about Devgn’s welfare, among other things.

According to Indian media, the film’s co-producer Kumar Mangat Pathak revealed in a recent interview that Vijay Raaz was fired due to his inappropriate behavior and excessive demands on the sets.

Pathak mentioned that Raaz had charged a higher fee for his spot boy and stated that the spot boy charges ₨68,800 per night, a figure that the production team found unreasonable.

Raaz also demanded a vanity cart and a bigger room for himself. The producers could not fulfill these demands, which led to his exclusion from the film.

However, Vijay Raaz took a different view to the Indian media, claiming that he was removed from the cast of Son of Sardaar 2 because he did not enquire about Ajay Devgn’s well-being when he arrived on the sets.

Raaz stated that Devgn was busy with his work and did not interrupt him. According to Raaz, he was informed of his exit from the film just 30 minutes after he arrived on the sets.

The production team has now replaced Vijay Raaz in the cast of the film with actor Sanjay Mishra.
