Ralph Fiennes performs bizarre dance moves at the Venice Film Festival
Doesn’t move quite like Jagger, Ralph…maybe like Jagger’s father.
– SPECTRE poster is a tribute to Bond’s past
– Actors who were much older than their characters
– Movie moments that happened by accident
Instead of simply posing for photos at the Venice Film Festival, SPECTRE star Fiennes decided to show off some truly bizarre dance moves.
Some of them were really disturbing.
With his tongue hanging out, many of his movements seemed downright monkey-like as he walked onto the red carpet.
He even received applause for his actions from the assembled crowd of film fans and paparazzi.
We can only assume that they were simply afraid.
Fiennes, 52, was in town over the weekend for the gala screening of his latest film, “A Bigger Splash.”
Watch a video below.
Directed by Luca Guadagnino, Fiennes plays the lead role of Harry, who, with his daughter Penelope (Dakota Johnson), disrupts the vacation of his old friends, a rock star and his wife, a filmmaker, played by Tilda Swinton and Matthias Schoenaerts.
According to the film’s synopsis, the visit triggers “a whirlwind of jealousy, passion and ultimately danger for everyone involved.”
Swinton, who herself was not averse to dancing, was discretion personified in comparison.
Fiennes will next be seen in SPECTRE, reprising the role of M, which he originated from Dame Judi Dench in the Bond series.
Let’s enjoy this moment now, okay?
It is scheduled to be released on October 26th.
