Tyrese Gibson may have simply played the wrong cards here.

The “Fast & Furious” star has escalated his dispute with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and declared that he would quit if Johnson returned to the fast-paced film series for the ninth film.

“Hello world………. hello loyal fans and loved ones from OUR Fast Universe……..I’m sorry to announce that with Dewayne joining Fast9, there will be no more Roman Peirce,” he wrote in a post on his Instagram page, perhaps misspelling Johnson’s name intentionally but also managing to mess up the name of his own character, Roman Pearce.

“If you mess with your family and my daughter’s survival, I’ll mess with yours.”

In his rambling message, he also apparently claimed that Johnson was taking performance-enhancing drugs to maintain his figure.

“Close your eyes dude you’re a ‘clown’…… #CandyAssBitchMade All my true ones….men of integrity…my true ones out here standing UP……people that go to the gym and get big naturally #NoJuice #NoOJ offshoots huh? Offshoots of these crazy egotistical champions……pause look who put their arms around my shoulders and who’s standing alone – #OurChildrenMatter.”

The dispute has been long-standing, but has escalated following the recent news that Johnson has signed on to star in a spin-off film about his character, special agent Luke Hobbs, alongside Jason Statham.

This move apparently caused the next Fast & Furious film to be delayed by a year, and it is believed that this is the reason why Gibson has gone on the offensive.

In previous posts, he said he had begged Johnson, who had criticized his male F&F co-stars in the past, not to appear in the spin-off, but his pleas had been ignored.

Johnson has not yet responded to the latest outbreak.

But Gibson currently appears to be struggling with personal problems, particularly an ugly and public custody battle with his ex-wife Norma Gibson over his daughter Shayla.

She claims Gibson attacked the 10-year-old, held her down and beat her so badly she couldn’t sit, and is seeking a restraining order against him.

Gibson, who remarried earlier this year, says he only slapped her on the bottom once.

He was seen spending time with his daughter last weekend, albeit accompanied by a court-appointed guardian.
