More than a decade after its release, Son of Sardaar (2012) is gearing up for a sequel. However, the project is facing numerous problems. Recently, the Ajay Devgn-starrer film got caught up in yet another controversy involving actor Vijay Raaz. Vijay Raaz’s dismissal

Vijay Raaz was reportedly removed from Son of Sardaar 2 due to unprofessional conduct. According to a report by Pinkvilla, there were two different reports on the matter, as stated by the actor and Kumar Mangat Pathak, who is co-producing the film.

Kumar said Vijay demanded bigger rooms, charged more for his spot boy and behaved rudely. On the contrary, Vijay said, “I was removed from the film 30 minutes after I arrived on the set for not greeting Ajay Devgn. These are powerful people and the talk of misbehaviour does not come up at all.”

Sanjay Mishra replaced Vijay in the film.

Sanjay Dutt’s visa problem

A few days ago, reports surfaced that Sanjay Dutt’s visa issues allegedly led to him being dropped from Son of Sardaar 2. The actor finally spoke about the issue in an interview with Bombay Times and said, “I gave you (the British government) all the papers and everything (required). Why did you give me the visa (in the first place)? You shouldn’t have given me the visa. How come it took you a month to realise the laws?”

Sanjay was replaced by Ravi Kishan in the film.

Son of Sardaar 2 is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and also stars Mrunal Thakur in the lead role. The first film starred Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. The makers are said to be striking a new tone and not picking up where the first film ended.
