The razor is made from titanium and has a simple, low-poly-inspired design that might remind you of the form factor of a certain electric truck. The smooth handle may seem slippery to you, but the opposite is true: the design offers quite a bit of grip even with wet or soapy hands. A micro-texture on the razor head helps it glide effortlessly over your skin, and just below the blade edge is a wavy bar that further aids this smooth glide by allowing shaving cream to flow through its tiny grooves as the blade edge glides over your skin, delicately trimming each hair.

Using the TiGlide S1 is pretty intuitive if you’ve shaved before. Place half a blade into the top of the razor before clipping on the magnetic head. Tighten the screw on the back until you get the blade angle you want (make sure everything is locked in place) and you’re good to go. You can use the razor for dry or wet shaving. When you’re done, just rinse it under running water to remove all the shaving cream/stubble. A single-edge blade is much easier to clean than the multi-edge ones that have lots of grooves where hair can get caught. Titanium is naturally rustproof and antibacterial, so maintenance is a breeze.
