Olivia Culpo shares a video of her new mother-in-law Lisa McCaffrey showing off her dance moves after Culpo married McCaffrey’s son, NFL star Christian McCaffrey.

“Have never seen this clip before and just had to share. Best mother-in-law in the world!!!” the model and former Miss Universe captioned the video, which she posted on TikTok on July 7.

The short clip shows Lisa McCaffrey rocking out to Earth, Wind & Fire’s classic R&B hit “September” in a little black dress at the couple’s reception.

“Come on mother-in-law!!,” Culpo captioned the clip.

Lisa McCaffrey also shared the video on her Instagram page and wrote: “So happy! Can’t stop dancing. I love my daughter-in-law!”

Fancy footwork is nothing new for Lisa McCaffrey, who was a football star as a student at Stanford University. Her husband, Ed McCaffrey, played in the NFL for 13 seasons and won three Super Bowls.

Culpo and her son were married on June 29 in a chapel in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

A few days later, the San Francisco 49ers running back defended his newlywed bride after an online fashion influencer criticized her long-sleeved Dolce & Gabbana wedding dress.

“What an evil thing to post online. I hope you can find joy and peace in the world like my beautiful wife,” Christian McCaffrey wrote in the comments section of an Instagram video posted by Kennedy Bingham, who calls herself the Gown Eyed Girl on social media, on July 2.

In her review, which was also posted on TikTok, Bingham criticized Culpo’s comments to Vogue in an article about her wedding that included pictures of her in her dress.

Culpo told the magazine she did not want the dress to “exude sex in any way, shape or form,” and said she preferred to get married in a dress that was “as serious” as the commitment of marriage.

Bingham disagreed with Culpo’s remark in her video critique. “You can get married in your underwear and take your wedding vows very seriously,” she said. “What you wear on your wedding day has almost nothing to do with whether or not you will have a long and happy marriage.”

She further accused Culpo of pursuing a “conservative agenda” with her comments and said her wedding seemed like a “conservative campaign.”

Culpo herself fired back at another TikTok user who suggested Vogue was mistaken when it reported that Culpo did not wear mascara, lip liner or eyebrow makeup on her wedding day.

“I have never felt more beautiful than in my ceremony dress and under my veil – I really wanted the simplicity of each element to work together perfectly,” Culpo told the magazine.

A TikTok user named @jessweslie suggested that Culpo was inaccurate when she told Vogue that she wore barely any makeup and no mascara at all on her wedding day.

“I need Vogue to be astronomically honest right now because we know Olivia Culpo has an eyelash perm,” the user wrote, adding, “Of course she won’t be wearing mascara.”

The user added that Vogue’s report on Culpo’s makeup “sparked such weird vibes in me.”

Culpo responded in the comments to the video: “It was an interview… they asked me what my makeup was like………………………..”
