Recently a post in the popular Korean online community Theqoo went viral for pointing out how often tall female idols are accused of lying about their height. The OP (original poster) compiled the following cases:

  1. Tzuyu

With a height of 170 cm, Tzuyu is the highest TWICE member. But the idol debuted when she was 168 cm tall. During an appearance on a variety show, she recalled that right at her debut, people didn’t want to believe that she was shorter than 170 cm.
