Former WWE Champion removed from active roster

Two-time WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has been removed from the company’s active roster page, signaling his impending departure from WWE as his contract is about to expire.

On July 21, reports surfaced suggesting that Lashley would be leaving the company when his contract expires soon. Following these reports, it was confirmed that Lashley had been removed from the company’s internal roster, along with fellow WWE members MVP and Tamina.

As of now, Lashley is no longer listed on WWE.com’s active roster page, where he previously appeared between Blake Howard and Booker T. Instead, he has been moved to the alumni section, a clear sign of his departure from the company. MVP, Lashley’s former manager, was also moved to the alumni section following the expiration of his contract on August 2.

While Tamina is still on the current roster page, her status is uncertain as she has not been de-listed yet. Interestingly, Becky Lynch, whose contract expired in early June, is still listed on the active roster page despite her free agent status. There is speculation that she may return after a hiatus, but no official announcement has been made regarding her status.

What injury did Bobby Lashley sustain at a WWE live event?

Bobby Lashley announced that he suffered a “freak accident” during a WWE live event match with Santos Escobar on May 5. Lashley did not say what the exact injury was, but he recovered much faster than doctors expected.
