Who dies in Outer Banks season 3?

If you are like us, you have seen the new season of Outer banks as soon as it hit Netflix. The drama may or may not answer all your burning questions from the season 2 finale, but it probably left you with a ton of new ones too. The Pogues begin season 3 on an island they’ve declared their new home, but with no money and a lack of resources, they return to the OBX to try and return to their normal lives before they began their tumultuous treasure hunt for the Cross of Santo Domingo.

Midway through the new season, that plan is thrown into disarray when they discover the treasure is in the OBX. They’re back at it, and the stakes have never been higher, with Rafe and Ward still breathing down their necks, along with a new villain, Carlos Singh. The dangerous hunt resulted in several deaths by the end of the season – including two main characters. Here’s how it all went down.

Who dies in Outer banks Season 3?

Several people die during the action-packed third season of Outer banksincluding Portis, Tommy Sowell, Ryan, Carlos Singh, and three of his smugglers. The two most shocking deaths this season, however, are those of Ward (who, unlike last season, is actually real this time) and John B’s father, Big John.

How does Ward die in Outer banks Season 3?

Ward has come close to death throughout the series, even faking his death in a massive boat explosion in season 2. It was later revealed that it was all a ruse, but in the season 3 finale, Ward dies in a surprisingly honorable manner.

The big plot twist was that Ward sacrificed his life to save Sarah and the Pogues when Carlos Singh’s lackey Ryan corners them and threatens to shoot them. Ward jumps on Ryan and gets shot. He then gets into a scuffle with Ryan and as they fight, they fall off a cliff and die.

How does Big John die in Outer banks Season 3?

The Pogues thought Big John was already dead, but discovered he was still alive towards the end of season two. Although we finally (!) got a proper introduction to Big John in OBX3Unfortunately, he doesn’t make it to the fourth season.

As the gang leaves South America, Carlos Singh pursues them and shoots Big John. Throughout the finale, Big John manages to keep going and protect the valuable gold, but the injury gets worse and worse until he bleeds out and dies.
