The episodes of “Agatha All Along” are longer than those of “WandaVision”
MCU fans can look forward to longer running times Agatha – All the time than the show’s Disney+ predecessor, WandaVision.
Agatha – All the time will be the third Disney+ series of the MCU in 2024, after echo And X-Men ’97. It is also the latest sequel series from Marvel Studios as it follows the events of WandaVisionthe MCU’s first multiverse saga project.
While WandaVision And Agatha – All the time will be very different from each other, with viewers eagerly awaiting the return of Kathryn Hahn as a popular villain.
The running times of Agatha All Along exceed those of WandaVision
X (formerly Twitter) user @ScarletWitchUpd shared the runtimes for the first four episodes of Marvel Studios’ next Disney+ series, Agatha – All the timeahead of its release date on Wednesday, September 18th.
The running times for the first four Agatha Episodes are about 20 minutes longer than the running times of the first four episodes of WandaVisionOn average, this equates to about five additional minutes of running time per episode.
Below are the exact running times of the first four episodes of each season:
Agatha – All the time:
- Episode 1 – 39 minutes, 49 seconds
- Episode 2 – 41 minutes, 25 seconds
- Episode 3 – 37 minutes, 2 seconds
- Episode 4 – 40 minutes, 52 seconds
WandaVision:
- Episode 1 – 30 minutes, 48 seconds
- Episode 2 – 38 minutes, 8 seconds
- Episode 3 – 34 minutes, 1 second
- Episode 4 – 36 minutes, 4 seconds
It was also confirmed that the series will be nine episodes long, setting the MCU record for episode length in a live-action series with WandaVision.
The only Marvel Studios series with more episodes was the animated X-Men ’97which had 10 episodes.
What will happen in Agatha all this time?
As with almost every Disney+ show so far, Agatha – All the time The total running time of the nine episodes is expected to be about six hours.
WandaVision started differently, with shorter episodes that paid tribute to the different eras of the sitcoms it copied.
Considering this, Agatha probably doesn’t have this limitation, meaning that on average the episodes should all be about the same length. This is already proving to be true, as the first four episodes average about 40 minutes each, which should be the case for a nine-episode, six-hour-long series.
Most likely, the first episode will include much of the footage already shown in the first trailer of the series, in which Agatha plays detective and finds the body of Wanda Maximoff. This seems to lead to Aubrey Plaza’s Rio helping her escape Wanda’s spell and be Agatha Harkness again.
From there, the pace should be similar to that of previous Disney+ series, although story details remain largely under wraps. Fortunately, there are critic reviews that point out how well Agatha It will make viewers curious to find out more.
Agatha – All the time begins its run on Disney+ on Wednesday, September 18, with a two-episode premiere.
