The “King of Country Music” broke an attendance record at a concert in the USA in June this year.

George Strait performed in front of 110,905 fans at Texas A&M University’s Kyle Field on June 15, 2024.

According to Billboard, the record was previously held by the Grateful Dead, who had 107,019 fans at a 1977 concert at Raceway Park in New Jersey.

Strait also holds the record for most No. 1 hits on any chart by any artist of any genre.

Will he do it again at his last stadium show of the year?

Could happen. Strait will be joined by Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town on Saturday, December 7, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The cheapest tickets for this show are available today $458 on SeatGeek.

Strait will also perform at the “Tribute to Dean Dillon” on Wednesday, October 9, in Huntsville, Alabama, along with other country stars Vince Gill, Ronnie Dunn, Riley Green, Ernest, Jamey Johnson and Pam Tillis.
