Hawk Tuah Girl says Matt Rife concert was “everything I dreamed of”
Matt Rife is a man of his word. Whitney Cummings used her podcast as a matchmaker The comedian offered Rife and Haliey Welch, the young woman who went viral with her “Hawk Tuah” video, tickets to his concert in her hometown of Tennessee. “Do you want to be in the front row,” Rife flirted, “or do you want to sit a little off to the side, like backstage?”
“Take me back to you there, boy,” Welch replied, a playful come-on that sent Cummings into hysterics.

Those dreams came true this week and Welch has the evidence by sharing pictures from her backstage meeting with the Clear Comic on her Instagram. “Matt was everything I dreamed of,” Welch gushed.
Welch, who is using her newfound fame to support animal shelters, may also have had a thing or two with another visitor backstage. “Huge thanks to @nashvillehumane for bringing me some puppies backstage so I can get my serotonin fix,” Rife posted on his own Instagram while a puppy licked his chiseled cheekbones. “If you live in the area, go and meet your new best friend!”
And what about his encounter with Welch? “Huge shout out to @hay_welch for being the absolute nicest and best sportsman. #HawkTuah”
But it wasn’t all sweetness and candy. The most obvious and disgusting images of the evening were a sequence in which Rife Welch holds out his cupped hands so that Tuah can cough into them…
Afterwards, Rife appears to rub her saliva into his palms as if it were HawkTuahTM Branded hand sanitizer.
Bill Maher would not approve of that. When Welch was on his Club Random PodcastMaher recommended putting her Hawk Tuah moments behind her. The salacious insinuation “that suddenly made you famous is nothing to be ashamed of, but now we have to get over it,” he advised.
Welch said she agreed, but that didn’t stop her from spitting all over Matt Rife and posting it on Instagram. The images sparked a lot of heated spit talk in Welch’s comments section. Some fans took exception to all the Hawk Tuah talk: “Brother, stop it, leave the lady alone. This whole meme is completely out of control.”
Let it go? Others said they wouldn’t bring it up again if Welch stopped insulting people.
