Michael Jordan dances around his wife Yvette on vacation

Since Michael Jordan keeps his private life a closely guarded secret, it is rare to see celebratory moments with the legendary number 23. Since marrying his wife Yvette Prieto in 2013, the couple has remained rather low-key, with events and trips to Europe being the rare exception.

This time, the couple was spotted at the Bagatelle restaurant in Mykonos. Although the restaurant is famous for its French cuisine, it was the music that got Michael Jordan on his feet.

Wearing grey shorts and a black t-shirt, MJ showed his wife some dance moves. Yvette, wearing a white dress, stood opposite Jordan as the two danced with their arms around each other. But Mike, in the holiday spirit, decided to dance towards his wife and turned around. She laughed loudly and understood what she meant and hugged her husband from behind as he demonstrated the dance moves.

The wine, the weather and the cigar were all signs of a successful tropical vacation for Jordan and his wife. The dancing was just a bonus. The Courtside Buzz Instagram page shared the video with the caption, “EVEN SEEN A GOAT DANCE?”

A few weeks before Mike and Yvette danced happily in Mykonos, eagle-eyed fans spotted the couple in Italy, Spain and France. The couple danced happily together in one of Capri’s most famous nightclubs. In St. Tropez, they enjoyed the beach and romantic boat rides around the seaside town.

While it must be hard to pick a favorite from such a rich program, Jordan’s time at Bagatelle Mykonos may be the highlight. The same saxophonist who got Jordan grooving in the video above later recognized the 6-time NBA champion. Perhaps by his moves or his 6’6″ stature.

The musician did his best and played the iconic intro to “Sirius” for Jordan’s table. Even MJ himself clapped along and celebrated the moment, rewarding the saxophonist with a handshake.

“Sirius” by The Alan Parsons Project is a song closely associated with Jordan. It was the Bulls’ induction song during his playing days and is a central memory for many fans in the 90s.

Although The Alan Parsons Project didn’t make much money from the Bulls’ use of the song, “Sirius” is known to many as Michael Jordan’s theme song. In October 2023, Jordan found himself in a similar situation when a restaurant played the tune for him and his wife.

Although he has been retired for nearly two decades, Jordan is still very well known and the fan support he receives everywhere shows his influence not only on basketball, but on a global level.
