PGA Tour Championship prize money and payouts: How much will the FedEx Cup winner earn in 2024?

At the end of the PGA Tour rainbow is a sizable pot of gold.

The final golf tournament of the 2024 PGA season is upon us, as the PGA Tour Championship will conclude the 2024 FedEx Cup playoffs. The third and final round of the postseason will determine the FedEx Cup champion, who will go home with a large sum of money.

It’s no surprise that Scottie Scheffler, competing at East Lake Golf Club, is in prime position to win his first FedEx Cup. The two-time Masters champion is coming off an incredibly successful 2024 season, including winning his second Masters in April and a gold medal for the United States in Paris.

Scheffler comes to East Lake at the top of the leaderboard and has the best chance of winning the tournament, but close behind him are 2024 PGA Championship and British Open winner Xander Schauffele and 2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship winner Hideki Matsuyama.
