After a fifth of the cast of season 40 left last week, “The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras” continues with a new episode on Wednesday, August 28, 8 p.m. ET.

About the show:

Since 1998, MTV’s The Challenge has pitted reality competitors from around the world against each other in merciless challenges and brutal eliminations. This time, 40 former contestants have been brought back to compete in new challenges for a $1 million prize. TJ Lavin hosts. Last week, eight eliminated contestants were asked to rate the remaining players on a scale of 1 to 5 for karma votes. Stay tuned this season to find out how those will come into play.

In today’s episode “A fatal era‘” the eras must now work together to protect their team. A disgusting feast is prepared, and TJ’s new gimmick puts two members of each era in danger of elimination. The winners make it difficult for themselves as they struggle to agree on a decision.
