Mercedes Mone’s ring gear for AEW All In was her most expensive yet. The TBS Champion stated that it cost over $10,000. Mone revealed in her latest fan newsletter that her ring gear was the most expensive she has invested in to date and spoke about the importance of investing in yourself, as you can see below:

Not only did my hair cost a pretty penny, but my robe, which was so beautiful, gorgeous and majestic, was the most expensive in my 14 years as a wrestler. The whole outfit cost me over $10,000 (no pun intended).

Whether wrestlers invest that much money in their clothing really depends on what point in their career they are at. When you’re not at the top salary-wise, you try to find cheaper ways to look your best and that’s definitely possible. I’ve done it. At the biggest events, you invest everything you can. Those stages are huge and those moments last forever, so you want to put your best foot forward. It’s not always about the money. It’s about putting in the time, being creative and being inventive. That raises the standards and builds character. I think it’s all worth it and it pays off in the end. I hope I can instill that feeling in some of the younger girls on our roster.
