AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Xtreme Fast Draw World Finals Championship returns to Amarillo on Labor Day weekend.

Organizers say the best competitors from around the world will gather at the Rex Baxter Building, 3401 SE 10th Ave.

The event begins on Friday at 8:30 a.m. with the nine-round main game.

Organizers say the competition will continue on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. with the final rounds and the men’s and women’s classes.

The Sunday events will open with a church service at 8:00 a.m., with the teams’ championship round following at 8:30 a.m.

The World Final takes place after the team championship and includes the best 15 men and the best 7 women.

Organizers say prizes include buckles and cash for first place finishers in the men’s and women’s divisions. Other prizes for participants include:

• Men’s Division: Buckle and cash for 1st place, conchos and cash for 2nd-5th place and trophies and cash for 6th-10th place
• Women’s Division: Buckle and cash for 1st place, conchos and cash for 2nd-3rd place and trophies and cash for 4th-5th place
• Teams: Buckle for 1st place team members, large conchos for 2nd place team members, regular conchos for 3rd to 6th place team members.

The award ceremony in the World Final will take place immediately after the Championships.
