Tennessee Titans sign 12 players for practice squad

The Tennessee Titans are ready to start the 2024 NFL season. In Week 1, they will face Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears on the road.

Now that the preseason is complete, the front office has been busy finalizing the roster. Today, the team added 12 players to the practice squad.

Those 12 players were (in no particular order) defensive tackle Abdullah Anderson, center Corey Levin, defensive back Tre Avery, defensive back Anthony Kendall, defensive end Khalid Duke, defensive tackle Isaiah Iton, defensive back Gabe Jeudy-Lally, wide receiver Mason Kinsey, wide receiver Bryce Oliver, running back Jabari Small, guard Cole Spencer and tackle Leroy Watson.

Although the national media hasn’t shown much sympathy to the Titans this offseason, the roster looks very solid. Tennessee appears to be a surprise team in the AFC.

The Titans were very busy during the offseason. Their biggest moves included the signings of Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard, as well as the big trade to acquire star cornerback L’Jarius Sneed from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Looking ahead to the upcoming season, there are many reasons to be excited about the team.

A lot of things will look different. There are many new faces in the squad and Mike Vrabel is gone. However, the new head coach Brian Callahan has brought a breath of fresh air.

If Will Levis can make the big leap forward that most expect him to, Tennessee could be a dangerous team. They have built good talent around him on offense and the defense should be much better than last year.

Still, the first game of the season is just over a week away. The game can’t come soon enough.
