Prince William Police Need Help Finding 17-Year-Old Girl

Prince William County Police issued a press release at 2:34 p.m. Wednesday asking for help in locating a 17-year-old girl in Manassas County. Additional information from Prince William Police:

*MISSING ENDANGERED YOUNG PEOPLE: The Prince William County Police are asking the public for help in locating Maritza AMBROCIO-CHAVEZ, who was last seen around 9:00 a.m. on August 28 leaving her home on Willoughby Ln. in the Manassas neighborhood of Prince William County. Maritza also sent disturbing messages to family members and drove away from the residence on the morning of August 28 in a black 2013 Nissan Altima with Virginia license plate TKX-4762. Maritza is missing based on voluntary information and may need assistance and is therefore classified as endangered. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this individual is asked to contact Prince William County Police at 703-792-6500 or their local police department.

Maritza AMBROCIO-CHÁVEZis described as a Hispanic female, 17 years old, 5’3″ tall, 125 lbs, with black hair, pierced ears, brown eyes and scars on her arms and thighs

She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with green trim and red and green Christmas-style pants.
