Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, is setting the record straight. After reports from Fox Sports suggested she “rejected a request from Kamala Harris,” the designer took to her social media to criticize the publication for twisting her words.

In her Instagram stories, she described the situation as follows:

“That’s a totally loaded headline. If you read the article, I’ll say that I had no help last year and therefore couldn’t fulfill a last-minute request!”

In a second Instagram story, she urged her followers not to jump to conclusions from compelling headlines. In a third Instagram story, Kristin further expressed her frustration by writing about how news outlets twist stories to suit their own interests.

Kristin said in an interview with Fox News Digital that her schedule was so full last season that she even had to turn down requests. During a conversation with Ryan Morik, she recalled receiving a text message from her agent during the Super Bowl in which she wrote:

“He said, ‘Hey, the vice president wants a jacket.’ I said, ‘What company?’ He said, ‘The country.’ Unfortunately, I had no help at the time and no opportunity to do more things. There just wasn’t time.”

Due to the sudden explosion in popularity of her designs, Kristin actually had a pretty busy schedule last season.

After Taylor Swift wore her red Chiefs-themed puffer jacket to a wildcard playoff game against the Miami Dolphins in January, Kristin’s career took a 180-degree turn. So much so that the designer eventually received approval from the NFL to incorporate their logo into her clothing designs.

In addition to her designs for the “Love Story” singer, she has also designed custom jackets for Brittany Mahomes, Olympian Simone Biles, former Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo and actor Taylor Lautner.
