Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden wore a sea-print dress by Scandinavian fashion label Maxjenny at the Stockholm Junior Water Prize awards ceremony on Tuesday. The Queen presented the 2024 winners with their awards at the ceremony at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre.

Victoria’s maxi dress featured a rippling water pattern in shades of white and blue, cap sleeves, a fitted bodice and a tapered skirt. The dress also had a nipped-in waist for a defined silhouette.

Crown Princess Victoria paired the dress with a pair of suede pointed toe pumps by Jimmy Choo in a shade of blue. The Queen kept her accessories to a minimum, making her dress the focal point of her entire ensemble. She also carried a blue suede clutch by LK Bennett.

Crown Princess Victoria kept her accessories understated, opting for a delicate bracelet, two rings and small earrings. She wore her hair tied in a tight chignon to complete the whole look.

Crown Princess Victoria has always been averse to playing with patterns. In recent times, the Queen has been inspired by botanical motifs for some of her clothing on various occasions. Last June, Princess Victoria visited the World of Water exhibition at the Swedish Museum of Natural History in a floral midi dress by Alberto Biani.

The previous month, Crown Princess Victoria wore the Aimee dress by Scandinavian fashion brand Malina to the annual meeting of the Friends of the Nordic Museum and Skansen at the Nordic Museum in Stockholm.
