Atlanta rapper and actor Ludacris caused an uproar online after consuming an unusual drink during a trip to Alaska.

On Monday, the Grammy-winning rapper, whose real name is Christopher Brian Bridges, shared a video of the surface of a glacier on Instagram.

“I’ve never tasted fresh glacier water in my life and this is a first,” said Ludacris, calling it one of the things he needs to do on his “bucket list.”

After filling his thermos, Ludacris takes a sip and exclaims, “Oh my God!”

The rapper’s choice of drink caused many people on social media to worry that it could lead to problems later.

“Be careful with glacier water!” someone wrote in Ludacris’ comments. “Even though it looks fresh and clean, it is often full of bacteria, parasites and viruses… microorganisms that you definitely don’t want in your body. It can make you extremely sick. Be sure to boil it first to be safe!”

“You’re going to be the reason we get another pandemic,” joked another user.

Even if the water looks pristine, experts say you should still filter it to prevent contact with viruses or other harmful bacteria.

“I’m here. I feel like Superman,” he said.
