In the trailer for “Die Alone” Carrie-Anne Moss survives in a world full of nature zombies (exclusive)

Just in time for Halloween, Quiver Distribution is bringing a new version of the zombie apocalypse film to theaters. The Matrix symbol Carrie Anne Moss. The Alone is set in a world reclaimed by nature by a mysterious virus that has spread across the globe. Those who remain alive, like Moss’ eccentric survivalist Mae, are forced to deal with the terrifying creatures the virus has left behind. In the midst of the chaos, a young man named Ethan (Douglas Smith), who suffers from amnesia, sets out to find his girlfriend, if she’s still alive. Collider can exclusively share a new trailer that shows he can’t take on the world alone, as he gets a little help from Mae in battling plant zombies and survivors with evil intentions.




The trailer begins with a terrifying look at a community nearly overtaken by nature, with dilapidated houses everywhere and the message “No God.” It sets the tone for the apocalypse when Ethan finds the house of Mae, who educates him on the devastating virus and its impact on humanity. A news report reveals that the infected of this world are known as the “Reclaimed.” while decayed humans with plant features growing out of them shuffle by. While the focus of the story is on Ethan’s efforts to reunite with Emma (Kimberly Sue Murray) after a fateful car crash, there are strong environmental undertones about a planet that may or may not be taking revenge for years of pollution. Mae agrees to help him, encouraging him to hide his amnesia and using her survival skills to make the journey a little easier, but as they find more infected on their journey and dangerous individuals size them up, they face a tough road ahead.


Smith’s star has been on the rise for some time, playing supporting roles in Don’t worry, darling, Seven Veilsand finally Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 in recent years. The Alone allows him to play the lead with a strong group around him, including Moss, fresh from the ill-fated star Wars series The AcolyteAnd Frank Grillowho plays the survivor Kai. A fateful encounter with Kai, as depicted in the trailer, could change Ethan’s journey forever as he confronts the dark secrets behind the fractures in his memory.


Who is behind “Die Alone”?


Behind the camera for The Alone Is Lowell Deanwho has a varied resume with credits from scary features such as the Steven Ogg-led Dark match to children’s programs such as Canada’s Hello, Opie! However, among genre fans, the author and director is best known for directing the crazy horror comedy creature film. WolfCop and its wilder sequel Another WolfCopHis new zombie apocalypse film may offer more earth-set horror thrills, but it still promises a unique directorial flair, so the film is one to keep an eye on when it hits theaters.
