Aero Fire Global includes a In-Sim Control Panel which offers several important features. Simmers have access to a Live Fire Map for real-time tracking of fires right in the cockpit. The panel also includes customizable jettison control settings that allow pilots to turn NAV lights on and off, press a “jettison now” button for immediate action, or activate a jettison with a 10-second timer.

In addition, there is the ability to start or remove fires at will and even create random fires within a 10 nautical mile radius of the current location.

This add-on also includes custom water and fire retardant drop effects that are intelligently scaled to match the size of the aircraft being used. By default, the add-on is set up for fuselage drops, but users can turn this off if they are using a helicopter with a hanging water bucket.

The release of this add-on comes ahead of the expected inclusion of aerial firefighting capabilities in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, so it is likely to be an interesting opportunity to practice these types of aerial missions ahead of the official integration into the platform later this year.

Aero Fire Global is now available on simMarket for approximately $15.00 USD.
