Members of the Alaska Organized Militia, including members of the Alaska National Guard, Alaska Naval Militia and Alaska State Defense Force, work with local authorities and tribal emergency response teams to clear disaster debris from a recent glacial flood in the Mendenhall Valley in Juneau, Alaska, on August 20, 2024. The last AKOM Soldier demobilized on August 23 after two weeks of support.
