Salt Lake City, Utah, August 25, 2024

Nexus IT recently received an award from Inc magazine. The Salt Lake City-based IT company landed at No. 2,146 on the 2024 Inc. 5000, an annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, according to the magazine’s ranking methodology.

Founded in 1998 in Park City, Utah, Nexus IT serves small and medium-sized businesses and the enterprise sector with either fully outsourced IT and cybersecurity departments or expanded departments and resources that already have in-house resources.

Here are previous TechBuzz reviews of Nexus IT. Note: The company was formerly known as Nexus IT Consultants.

“Nexus IT being recognized by Inc. 5000 for the third year in a row is a remarkable achievement and a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of our team. It is a true testament to our commitment to pushing boundaries, providing exceptional service and continuously evolving to meet the needs of our customers. This recognition is not only a milestone, but also a motivation to keep moving forward and continue to set new standards in the IT industry,” said Earl
Foote, founder and CEO of Nexus IT, pictured top center.

The Inc. 5000 class of 2024 represents companies that have achieved rapid revenue growth while navigating inflationary pressures, rising capital costs and seemingly insurmountable hiring challenges. Among this year’s top 500 companies, the average three-year median revenue growth rate is 1,637 percent. In total, this year’s Inc. 5000 companies added 874,458 jobs to the economy over the past three years.

Complete Inc. 5000 results, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, location and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.

The list of companies featured on this Inc.com 5000 list will be available on newsstands on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

“One of the greatest joys of my job is going through the Inc. 5000 list,” says Mike Hofman, who recently joined Inc. as editor in chief.

He continued: “As a journalist and storyteller, it’s fascinating to me to see companies transform industries in fascinating and surprising ways, from healthcare and AI to apparel and pet food. Congratulations also to this year’s honorees, who grew their companies rapidly despite the economic upheavals we’ve all faced over the past three years, from supply chain issues to inflation to changes in the labor market.”
