Tower of God Season 2 Episode 8 Summary
Several years after their fatal encounter with Mazino, Wangnan’s team is diligently climbing the tower to make it to the Workshop Battle in time. Their power has increased significantly since the last episode, especially that of young Miseng.
During the time jump, a new chat AI called Emily has become increasingly popular. She can answer almost any query with an alarmingly high success rate and is even said to be able to tell users if a known deceased person is still alive.
The episode also shows Khun’s group heading to the workshop battle. In the middle of a challenge, the group is stuck at a crossroads.
Dan, a member of Khun’s group, asks Emily to determine the right path when pursuing an enemy. Although the team successfully completes the challenge, Khun is against relying on Emily’s AI for guidance.
However, when they are alone, Khun asks Emily if Baam is still alive. She confirms that he is indeed still alive.
Although Emily’s AI seems incredibly useful, there seems to be a darker side that no one knows about. A woman with a device on her head is seen yelling at Emily.
