ShackStream: Eldenvania Episode 4 | Shacknews

Our journey through Elden Ring with Castlevania gear and rules continues today as we look to put Godrick the Grafted to the grave!

Another week brings another episode of the Eldenvania ShackStream, where we play through Elden Ring using strictly the equipment and rules that apply to most Castlevania games! In the last stream, we were interrupted by Godrick the Grafted. Can we overcome the small health gap that kept us from victory and wipe out his evil once and for all with the Vampire Killer?

Find out when we go live with Eldenvania on the Shacknews Twitch channel at 3pm PT (6pm ET). You can also watch it below.

In case you forgot, here are the rules I imposed for the Eldenvania run:

  • A whip must be used as the main weapon. It has holy properties.
  • Castlevania secondary weapon replacement weapons can be used, but not as primary weapons, including holy water pots, daggers, and an axe, to name a few. Specialized versions of items like kukri can be used as long as they fit a secondary weapon class.
  • Flasks cannot be used without further ado. We have a talisman that restores FP on kills (and acts as hearts), and a flask heal can only be used when we discover a secret wall (wall chicken rule).

As always, we want to thank everyone who enjoys Eldenvania and ShackStreams. We do our best to bring you the best livestream content possible. If you like what we do, we invite you to follow and subscribe to the Shacknews Twitch channel if you haven’t already. You can even subscribe for free if you have Amazon Prime and link it to your Twitch account through Prime Gaming. This will give you a free Shacknews subscription to use as you please. If you would like to gift this subscription to us, we would be delighted.

Godrick has been toiling for far too long. We’re going to put our whip in his face at top speed, so tune in as we go live with Eldenvania this week on the ShackStream!
