Boil advisory for Highway 68, North and South Braxton and Claunch Road

A boil water warning applies for approx. 80 Danville Water Works consumers in the area: Highway 68, North and South Braxton and Claunch Road
The reason for the announcement was: Unplanned repairs.
Following such an event, there is a possibility of bacteriological contamination of the water supply, therefore this boil water advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure.
Until further notice, all water for drinking and cooking must be boiled and brought to a rolling boil for three minutes before use.
The warning will remain in effect until the situation is corrected and test results show acceptable water quality.
