Honda has launched the Hornet 2.0 and the Dio with the multi-coloured Repsol Edition liveries. This livery is inspired by the Honda Racing Team’s RC 213V MotoGP bike. The Honda Repsol Edition has been in high demand since its introduction on the CBR 250 and its comeback must have excited many people! Here’s everything you need to know.

The new sculptural shape of the Honda Hornet goes well with the Repsol Honda Editon livery. The red and black accents look great and add a sporty touch. Also, there are no mechanical changes as the bike was recently upgraded to a 200cc engine and therefore no mechanical changes are required.

The Repsol Edition Hornet also gets a white skid plate to complement the orange wheels and fuel tank. The Honda Repsol Edition gets a 184cc air-cooled engine with a 5-speed gearbox to match. Also, the Honda Repsol Edition’s paint job looks great with the gold USD forks at the front, which are unique in this segment.

The Hornet Repsol Edition is priced at Rs 1,28,351. The standard Hornet costs Rs 1,26,351 and that extra Rs 2,000 is not bad for a special sticker.

Honda Dio Repsol Edition

Honda Dio is the Activa for the youth and Honda has offered it the Honda Repsol Editon livery. This too has the white and orange graphics along with the Repsol branding on some panels. The wheels and the grab handles are painted red which gives the bike a complete feel.

No mechanical changes have been made to this scooter. It still uses the same engine as before with a CVT transmission. The equipment is also basic and Honda only offers CBS for safer braking. The Honda Dio Repsol Edition is priced at Rs 69,757, which is about Rs 2,500 more than the DLX variant. This too is a good deal considering that last time Honda offered this only in limited edition with the CBR. This time Honda has not revealed anything about the number of units that will be produced.
