Rob Syndicate Vaults
Each of the three major syndicates in Star Wars Outlaws has a hidden vault deep within their district. This means you can rob the Crimson Dawn and Pyke gangs relatively early in the game via their vaults in Mirogana.
In these vaults are 5,000 credits and custom speeder paint jobs to represent the different factions. But beware: To rob these vaults, you’ll need to get three keycards for each one. These keycards are usually scattered throughout various gang territories, and you’ll have to sneak pretty far in.
You can make your life a lot easier by getting a “good” reputation with the syndicate you want to rob. This will give you better access to their premises and fewer gangsters to overcome.
You can find the keycard locations by hacking into the terminals next to each vault. The locations of the Crimson Dawn and Pyke vaults are indicated in the images above. To access the Crimson Dawn vaults, you’ll need to get to the landing pad in their base and travel through an air shaft. For the Pyke vaults, hack into an opening in the alley next to the vault on the map.
Fatherly races
Speaking of Syndicate Vaults in Star Wars Outlaws, there is usually a datapad near these vaults that offers information about the Fathier races. You can use this information to place a big bet and win rigged games in the process. Then, when you return to the vaults, the datapads will “reset,” giving you another chance to profit from the system.
These races take place on virtual tables found in most gambling dens. You simply bet on a Fathier horse and wait to see if your favorite wins the race. If you bet wisely, you can earn a few hundred credits at a time (be sure to pay attention to each Fathier’s energy meter, their age, and their past performance in races).
“Well-rested” horses with green indicators tend to get the best results. But of course, you can make a safe bet if you have gathered the above information first.
Sabaq
Sabbac is a popular card game across the galaxy, and chances are you’ll find at least one Sabbac table in every town or settlement you visit. The first game you’re likely to see is in the market district of Mirogana.
This particular table has a buy-in of 50 credits and only a prize pot of 150 credits. It may seem easy to ignore Sabbac at first, but that’s a mistake. The game isn’t too difficult to understand and if you play long enough, you’ll be invited to high roller tables where the jackpot is much bigger.
I recommend using the lower stakes table to practice. If you follow Danka’s main questline and have completed the New Tricks and False Flag quests, Danka will give you information on a high roller table that will lead you to others off-world. Also, the game is really fun once you know what you’re doing, so it’s definitely worth a try.
Syndicate agreements
Once you’ve completed the main quests New Tricks and False Flag, you’ll be able to accept contracts from brokers across the galaxy. The rewards of these contracts vary depending on how difficult or dangerous they are. Typically, you can get a few hundred credits apiece while also increasing your reputation with the syndicates by taking them on.
I quickly focused on jobs that required me to sneak into the various bases. Once I built up a “good” reputation with each gang, these jobs became incredibly easy as I could move freely around their bases and only sneak into the restricted areas.
This way I was not only able to earn credits quickly, but also increase my reputation with all syndicates, which made traveling through different regions much easier for me. The best contract brokers in Mirogana are Danka (in Makal’s bar she offers contracts for all syndicates), Eleera in front of the entrance to the Crimson Dawn district and Roba Barev, who is in the Pyke card room.
Imperial Terminals
There are various Imperial outposts you can access throughout Mirogana. They’re usually small towers with a few stormtrooper guards outside and one on the roof. Sneak past them and there’s a computer inside the tower that you can hack to earn “arrest” credits.
If the hack succeeds but you don’t get over the red line, you’ll get a few hundred credits apiece. However, if you successfully hack the terminal above the red line, you’ll get over 2,000 credits. Also, these terminals are reset, so you can steal the same terminals multiple times.
Selling goods
As you explore various Syndicate and Imperial warehouses, you will pick up many valuable items. These goods are often marked as “safe to sell” and can be sold to any merchant. However, to make optimal profit, you should wait and sell your goods to Syndicate merchants with whom you have a good reputation. You will get a better price for them and also get a discount on their goods.
Complete quests
This is pretty obvious, but you can earn a lot of credits just by following the main questline and taking on side quests too. Look at the top right corner of your screen. While traveling, it will sometimes turn yellow and flash with the message “Opportunities Nearby”.
When this happens, there is usually a side quest in the area that you can take on. Sometimes these quests, or “intel” as they are called in-game, can only be taken on by acquiring the information secretly. This means leaning on bars and eavesdropping on patrons when you get the chance. This almost always leads to a loot location on the map.
Petty theft
Don’t forget the ace up your sleeve – Nix. At any time during your travels, you can command Nix to steal from civilians, stormtroopers, and Syndicate gangsters. Simply execute the steal command (using the Q key) in Nix mode.
Nix can carry out numerous orders and has no qualms about stealing a few credits from the odd unsuspecting security guard.
