Experiential Brands opens fast-casual restaurants at three US universities

Experiential Brands, a portfolio of fast-casual restaurant concepts, plans to expand its presence by opening locations at three universities in the United States.

The company will open restaurants at Auburn University, East Carolina University and the University of Tennessee, marking its entry into non-traditional markets and college campuses.

This move is part of a broader strategy to target different consumer segments in high-traffic locations.

Experiential Brands said the new university locations would provide students and faculty access to the company’s diverse dining concepts, including The Original Hot Chicken, Flametown Burgers, INKED Tacos and Pinsa Roman Pizza.

Each campus will feature a combination of these brands, offering a variety of fast-casual dining options tailored to the on-the-go audience.

The company will open The Original Hot Chicken, Flametown Burgers and INKED Tacos at Auburn University in October.

East Carolina University will welcome Flametown Burgers and INKED Tacos in September, while the University of Tennessee will launch The Original Hot Chicken and Pinsa Roman Pizza.

Beyond the university campuses, Experiential Brands has also established an international presence with offices in London and Dubai.

The company is preparing to open a branch of The Original Hot Chicken in Toronto, Canada later this year.

In addition, Experiential Brands recently launched SocialBites, a food hub that brings together all four restaurant concepts and BarSocial in a single location.

Aziz Hashim, Founder and CEO of Experiential Brands, said, “Our restaurant concepts are designed to fit into spaces such as college campuses, as a food truck or as a standalone restaurant. We look forward to expanding our unconventional presence on college campuses.”

“Being part of our university partners’ campus community gives students and staff the opportunity to enjoy delicious and affordable meals to satisfy any craving.” In June of last year, INKED Tacos and The Original Hot Chicken opened their new dual-concept restaurant in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
