Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ new duet “Die With A Smile” is now available

The wait is over, folks. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” is finally out, and to say their new duet is passionate would be an understatement.
The pair released their sultry single “Die With A Smile” along with its music video on August 15. It’s safe to say that the duo rocked a pair of matching denim outfits (look away now, Cowboy Carter Stans), while the “Shallow” singer’s larger-than-life hairstyle could rival Dolly Parton’s.
The song itself is a dreamy ballad that recalls the powerful vocals and musicianship of Mars and Anderson. Paaks An evening with Silk Sonic Album of 2021.
The new song features both the Joker: Foil for Two Star and Mars deliver enough sensual vocals to make you shake your stick, while the clean guitar riff is a little reminiscent of Billie Eilish’s Hit me hard and soft Opening track “SKINNY”.
The “Locked out of Heaven” hitmaker dominates the first verse, while Gaga takes the reins in the second. Throughout the rest of the song, the duo’s vocal lines fight for control before settling on a delicious harmony.
The ethereal background instrumentation is reminiscent of Mars’ signature track “It Will Rain,” which accompanies the song to its impressive, almost screaming climax in the final chorus.
According to the press release, the idea for the track came from the singer of “When I Was Your Man”. Gaga said: “Bruno and I have a lot of mutual respect and talked about collaborating. I was finishing up my own album in Malibu and one evening after a long day he asked me to come to his studio to listen to something he was working on.”
“It was about midnight when I got there and I was blown away when I heard what he had started doing. We stayed up all night finishing writing and recording the song. Bruno’s talent is indescribable. His musicianship and vision are on a whole new level. There is no one like him.”
Mars added: “It was an honor to work with Gaga. She is an icon and brings magic to this song. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it.”
