Dua Lipa delights her fans with a new photo in a string bikini – and her abs and legs are so well-trained

Pop star Dua Lipa is already in full summer mode, and I’m *totally* with her. The 26-year-old Future Nostalgia singer showed off her toned body and defined legs in a new Instagram post, and the summer vibes are unmatched.

“Olive oil ice cream is the winner,” she captioned the photo dump, which includes snaps and videos from her recent travels. In two images, Dua rocks a black string bikini. She also welcomes the warmer weather in a black dress with a lace-up front and high slit.

Fans couldn’t get enough in the comments: “😍😍 Stunning 😍😍,” wrote one user, while someone else added: “They show us angles yayyy.”

Of course, Dua is constantly moving on stage – but what does her training routine look like on her days off?

First off, one of Dua’s trainers, Sora Connor, revealed that the singer’s workouts are all about strengthening her entire body. “We always do full-body training,” she told Women’s Health US. “Sometimes the focus is more on the core, sometimes the glutes. The main goal is to work the muscles so they get strong and toned, but the focus is on creating a long, lean line.”

Trainer Peter MacIver told us he used to train with Dua three to four times a week. Each session lasted an hour and combined cardio with strength training. Sprints and bodyweight workouts were key, although the pair sometimes added variety and equipment like resistance bands.

MacIver also explained that Dua knows how to set and achieve her fitness goals. When the singer wanted to run up some serious hills in London, the pair worked together to break it down into smaller chunks. “We did it by tackling one hill at a time,” he said. “Instead of saying we’re going to run up five (which is common with all my clients), we did one at a time, and in the end she nailed it.”

Dua herself has said in the past that she enjoys trying out new workouts as often as possible. “When I have a bit of extra time, I love combining lots of different workouts and finding different workouts in every city I’m in, whether it’s yoga, Pilates, boxing or spinning,” she told Marie Claire UK.

“Whatever it is, I try to change it up every day to keep it interesting. When you’re on a tour bus, every day and every place is different, so you never know what you’re going to find. That’s always a way to keep it interesting.”

And of course, rest is super important – even for an international pop star. “For a busy person like Dua, I recommended naps to help her body recover. When you train too much, your body stops working, so rest is a must,” MacIver told us.
