Experiential Brands, a portfolio of fast-casual restaurant concepts including The Original Hot Chicken, Flametown Burgers, INKED Tacos and Pinsa Roman Pizza, has opened its first locations at Auburn University, East Carolina University and the University of Tennessee. Each college campus offers a combination of the company’s brands.

“Our restaurant concepts are designed to fit into spaces such as a college campus, as a food truck or as a standalone restaurant,” said Aziz Hashim, founder and CEO of Experiential Brands, in a company press release. “We are excited to expand our non-traditional presence on college campuses. As part of the campus community with our university partners, students and staff have the opportunity to enjoy delicious, affordable meals that satisfy any craving.”

The college expansion is part of Experiential Brands’ broader strategy to reach diverse consumer segments in high-traffic, non-traditional locations.

“Tiger Dining is constantly working to improve the dining experience for Auburn students. When the opportunity arose to partner with Experiential Brands, we were impressed with their broad portfolio and ability to adapt to our needs,” said Glenn Loughridge, Auburn’s director of dining and concessions, in the release. “They have fresh concepts that resonate with our student demographic and bring unique flavors that add variety to the dining offerings at Melton Student Center.”

In addition to expanding on university campuses, the company has also established an international presence, operating non-traditional restaurants in London and Dubai. Later this year, the company will open a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Toronto called The Original Hot Chicken.

Experiential Brands recently opened SocialBites, a food hub with all four restaurant concepts and BarSocial under one roof.
