What happened in episode 8 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest?

So it turns out that Fairy Nail is a group of actors in episode 8, which is really weird. There are a lot of doppelgängers within the guild who are all different versions of the characters we all know and love, and they’re just a little bit weird about the whole thing. That’s a good part, no doubt, but it feels like it’s almost entirely intended as a weird fan joke rather than being there for actual story reasons.

The group then decides to go to the town of Drasil, and while they are getting used to everything, night falls and they realize that something is wrong with the town. What is going on, you may ask? Well, the town is actually in the hands of Aldoron, a giant being who could quite obviously accidentally sneeze and wipe out the Fairy Tail crew. They then learn more about the White Mage, and then the group enters a church that may or may not be a cult that has brainwashed their friends. We’ll find out next time when Fairy Tail: 100 Years of Adventure Episode 9 will be released on Crunchyroll.
