So far, 22,543 votes have been cast in early voting and mail-in ballots for the August 20 primary election

Osceola County has just three days left for early voting for the August 20, 2024 primary election. As of 7:55 p.m. on August 15, 2024, a total of 22,543 votes have been cast—5,437 through early voting and 17,106 through absentee ballots. This represents an unofficial turnout of 10.07% among the county’s 223,760 active and eligible voters. Early voting will continue daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through Sunday, August 18, 2024, providing residents ample opportunity to make their voices heard before Election Day. Primary voting day is Tuesday, August 20, and registered voters will cast their ballots at their precincts.

What is early voting?

Early voting provides a convenient way for voters to cast their ballot before Election Day. The Elections Department has set up nine designated polling places throughout Osceola County for citizens to vote at their convenience. Voters will use the same type of voting machines that will be available during the actual Election Day primary, which will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

How to vote early

Early voting is available at the Chief Election Officer’s main office and other locations throughout the county. To vote early, eligible voters must present a current and valid photo ID with signature. Voters may go to any early voting location within the county to cast their ballot. On actual election day, registered voters must vote in their actual voting precinct.

To participate in the primary election, you must be registered to vote on or before July 22, 2024.
