What is the Gotta Go Fast Challenge?

The “must be quick” in Phasmophobia puts us in the prison map and robs us of our minds and hiding places. Therefore, we must quickly discover the mind and get in and out if we want to survive.

Luckily, despite having no mind, we have 150% movement speed to compensate. We’ll be able to outrun the Ghosts most of the time, as they only have 125% movement speed, but don’t think it’s going to be a walk in the park. We only have access to level 1 equipment. There are no fuse boxes, incense, or crucifixes to help us.

Since we don’t have access to tools to protect ourselves during a hunt, and the lack of places to hide makes this particular prison challenge even more terrifying, we need a solid plan if we want to get out alive. If this is your first time going in, I would highly recommend you bring the following items with you:

  • tripod
  • Salt
  • DOTS projector

This will allow you to monitor from the trailer if you notice any ghost activity. There is a chance you might see something like the Ouija board pop up, but I strongly advise against using this object unless you are playing in multiplayer or are confident you can escape the danger it can pose to you. Since you start off with no wits whatsoever in this run, using this object will immediately trigger a hunt, and that could prove fatal.

I would also suggest bringing at least one other player with you if possible, as this run can end quickly if you play alone. And if you have the option to bring along other items that can help you with this challenge, it will be a breeze.
