The Esports World Cup 2024 hosted some of the biggest tournaments in the world for various video games. With millions of dollars at stake, teams from all over the world competed against each other in numerous different titles. Among these Esports World Cup titles was ESL R1, the popular racing game.

With some of the biggest names in the ESL R1 competitive scene competing against each other, the competition established itself as one of the most intense tournaments in esports history.

Team Redline wins the ESL R1 Esports World Cup and receives $140,000

ESL R1 has been a real hit in the esports world lately. The popular racing game has attracted a whole host of fans and players as racing video games have been popular for decades.

The Esports World Cup 2024 did not let racing fans down either. With big names like G2 Esports, Team Vitality, Team Falcons and others, many gamers flocked to their screens to watch the competition.

However, only one team was able to bring home the victory.

Not only did Team Redline have three drivers finish in the top five, but they also secured victory with a 150-point lead over Team Vitality, which finished second overall.

The three competitors in the top five were Sebastion Job (first), Kevin Siggy (second) and Luke Bennet (fourth). The team won a total of $140,000, with Job taking home $25,000 as the first-place finisher.

Team Vitality takes 2nd place in the ESL R1 Esports World Cup

Despite only scoring half as many points as Team Redline, Team Vitality managed to secure second place at the ESL R1 Esports World Cup.

With each team having competed in many events, there was never a shortage of action on the circuit. It will be interesting to see how games like ESL R1 fare in the esports scene, as many other bigger titles are outpacing them.
