Bradley is now ranked fourth in the FedEx Cup standings and has a chance to win the championship next week.

Every golfer in the top 30 will compete in the TOUR Championship, but those with a higher ranking will receive better benefits. The FedEx Cup leader will start at 10 under par, while the rest of the field will receive the following benefits:

  • No. 2: 8 under par
  • No. 3: 7 under par
  • No. 4: 6 under par
  • No. 5: 5 under par
  • No. 6-10: 4 under par
  • No. 11-15 start: 3 under par
  • No. 16-20: 2 under par
  • No. 21-25: 1 under par
  • No. 26-30: straight

Scottie Scheffler, who has been the best golfer all year, struggled at the BMW Championship this weekend, finishing one over par in a tie for 33rd place. Fortunately for Scheffler, the poor weekend did not hurt his placing, as he has otherwise had an excellent year.

Scheffler is still in first place in the FedEx Cup standings, meaning he will have a big advantage at next week’s TOUR Championship.

While Bradley made the biggest jump of the entire field on Sunday, Adam Scott also improved his ranking after finishing second. Like Bradley, Scott had started the weekend with the goal of finishing in the top 30, and he jumped more than 20 places in the overall standings on Sunday, from 41st to 14th.

The two biggest climbers, Bradley and Scott, will now look to carry their positive momentum into next week’s TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Course in Atlanta.
