What they say

“I am deeply concerned about the gunshot death of a 15-year-old girl,” said Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara. “Whether this was a horrific accident that highlights the need for proper gun care and storage, or whether this is somehow related to the rise in teen violence, the loss of a 15-year-old girl is an unacceptable tragedy. Our investigators are working diligently to determine exactly what happened. Together with our law enforcement and community partners, we will continue to do everything we can to completely end the number of lives forever impacted by guns.”
