With him currently ranked 12th and Cannonier at 5th, “The Natural” could very well take “Killa Gorilla’s” place. He is a real threat and an up-and-coming contender who could challenge for the title sooner rather than later.
Second place: Michael Morales
Like Borralho after him, Morales secured one of the biggest wins of his career by defeating the long-time veteran. Now both men can fulfill their lifelong journey and one day challenge for the title after signing “six-figure contracts.”
Biggest loser: Victoria Leonardo
Leonardo just can’t seem to get going in the Octagon. She began her UFC career with two consecutive losses by technical knockout, a win over Mandy Bohm, followed by two consecutive TKO losses, including her most recent loss last night in “Sin City.” With a record of 1-4 in her first five UFC fights – all by TKO – she has established herself as one of the prime candidates for a next-round cut, especially since her most recent setback lasted just 62 seconds.
