Millbury driver dies in crash on 795 – BG Independent News

A Millbury woman died today (August 15) when her vehicle collided with the rear of a commercial truck in Perrysburg Township.

The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the call on August 15 at 12:09 p.m.

They reported that 42-year-old Lisa Carlin of Millbury was driving a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan eastbound on State Route 795 shortly after noon today, August 15.

An international commercial tractor/trailer company was traveling eastbound on State Route 795 and was stopped at the red light at Glenwood Road.

Carlin failed to maintain the necessary safety distance and crashed into the rear of the trailer. The passenger

of the International Truck was 31-year-old Justin P. Jeko from Toledo.

Dusseau and Jeko were taken to Mercy Health-St. Charles Hospital with minor injuries.

Carlin was taken to Mercy Health-St. Vincent Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

All three people involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

The crash is currently still under investigation.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Perrysburg Township Police Department, Perrysburg Township Fire and EMS, Rossford Police Department, Rossford Fire, ODOT, Wright Tire and Auto, and Pat and Son Towing.
