Danielle Armstrong gave birth to a little girl.

The 35-year-old TV star announced on social media that she has welcomed her second child with husband Tommy Edney.

Alongside a photo of the couple and their daughter, Danielle – who also has three-year-old Orla with Tommy – wrote on Instagram: “Orla’s wish has come true… IT’S A GIRL! (sic)”

Danielle, best known for her role in The Only Way Is Essex, previously admitted that she thought she was having a boy instead.

The reality star also admitted that it was “hard” for her to get pregnant a second time.

She explained on Instagram: “I’ve just been so much more anxious this pregnancy and despite all the doctors and the different scans and all the different tests they do, you just want the all-clear.

“I don’t know what it is, but I found it really hard this time. So, yeah, anyone watching this, I think anything to do with pregnancy… I didn’t hide it from anyone after we got married that we were probably going to try. I would love to have a baby this year. And when I got married, people were like, ‘Are you pregnant? Oh, baby number two!’ And I’ll get into that another time, but even my experience of trying to have a baby, I found it really hard. I was really emotional. (sic)”
