The media then picked up the story and invited Marongo to meet with Kenyans who showed him their affection.

Under the name Goliath Gen Z, he has now amassed a considerable fan base of more than 15,000 followers on TikTok, with his social media bio highlighting his characteristics and “BRADLEY, the greatest of 254.”

From unwanted attention from children staring at him in awe, some of whom taking photos without his permission, to difficulty finding clothes that fit, Marongo’s extraordinary size brings with it plenty of challenges.

Even though his bed is custom-made, he cannot stretch out on it.
