WOLFSBAN ANNOUNCE THE RE-RECORDING OF “35TH ANNIVERSARY”LIVE FAST, DIE FAST

After many years and many requests from fans, Wolfsbane will release a re-recorded version of their first album ‘Live fast, die fast‘ with the title ‘Live faster‘.

The record is scheduled for release in late 2024 and is a completely new recording, NOT a remix or remaster of the original.

When asked about the album, guitarist and producer Jase Edwards said: “You asked, we listened. None of us know how long we’ll be on this earth, especially me, so it seemed like the right time to remake the album the way the band originally envisioned it. It’s going to be brutal.”

The album is currently in the final stages of production. Jase He has already burned through two amplifiers to achieve the desired intensity.

“The original recording was lost years ago,” commented Blaze Bayley. “It’s great to be able to return to the mood of these songs and use the experience we have now to re-record and reinterpret them with Jase to produce everything. It was one of the most exciting things we’ve ever done and we didn’t expect it to be this much fun.”

Steve Danger, WolfsbaneThe dynamic drummer is a bit more pragmatic: “BLACK LEATHER JACKET! A new one, because the zipper on the old faithful companion can no longer be done due to a life full of experiences. Experiences are cake!”

Finally bassist Jeff Hatley summed it up well: “People have been asking us to do this for years, we always said no. But then we realized that we still play most of these songs live and they have evolved over the years. The 35th anniversary seems like a good time to do it all again, our way. The same but different, different but the same.”
