Everything is ready for the 2024 League Cup Final, which will be played this Sunday between Columbus Crew and LAFC at Lower.com Field, Home of the current MLS champions and where less than a year ago the team led by Wilfried Nancy won the MLS Cup title against the same opponent.

For the crew, players like Diego Rossi, Juan Camilo ‘Cucho’ Hernández, Christian Ramírez, Darlington Nagbe and Rudy Camacho were the backbone this team that has impressed this season and sits comfortably in third place in the Eastern Conference.

Possible Columbus Crew team against LAFC

If there is one thing Columbus Crew has become accustomed to in recent times, it is participating in major finals. And this League Cup final will be the third in less than a year for Wilfried Nancy and his team, after the 2023 MLS Cup and the defeat in the Concacaf Champions final in June against Mexican club Pachuca.

However, Nancy is not expected to experiment in Sunday’s final and will stick to the same teams that played in the matches against Inter Miami and Philadelphia Union in the quarter and semi-finals of the competition.

Patrick Shulte, Steven Moreira, Rudy Camacho, Yevhen Cheberko, Mohamed Farsi, Sean Zawadzki, Darlington Nagbe, Maximilian Arfsten, Christian Ramírez, Diego Rossi and Cucho Hernández are expected to be on the field for the Crew, who will look to use home court advantage to give the team a boost on Sunday against LAFC.
